What to Expect When Your Expecting
By Kate Scarpa, Internship Program Coordinator
After the months of interviewing and selecting our future class of summer interns, we finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. But now what? Making sure that we have all our ducks in a row before our interns' first day is one of the most important tasks.
As our description says, we like to give Fusion interns the experience needed so that when they leave us they are fully prepared to become an entry-level account coordinator. That’s a lot of pressure, but also very exciting. We think of it all... what has worked in the past, what didn’t work, what their first day should be like, what will they need, what will they want. These are all questions that we ask and assess before our interns arrive. From the basics to a pen and notebook to setting up their e-mail account to having all guidelines and documents accessible, we take this part of the intern program pretty seriously.
So for all those future interns out there, we’re getting ready for you and we can’t wait!
